Effie Aquila Patrick

Effie Aquila Patrick represents individual and corporate clients in a wide array of matters, including family, employment, contract, and property/land use issues, among others. A litigator, Ms. Patrick assists clients with a case from its pre-trial stages through appeals. Ms. Patrick provides pre- and post-suit counseling to aid clients in mitigating current losses and reducing exposure to future claims. She also engages in alternative dispute resolution methods, including mediations or arbitrations, to efficiently resolve matters.

Ms. Patrick received her B.A. in History from Columbia University, and her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School. Prior to joining Maya Murphy, P.C., Ms. Patrick worked with the business litigation practice group of Robinson & Cole LLP.

Ms. Patrick is admitted to practice in Connecticut, the District of Columbia, and New York.
