IEP Meetings

The following is a list of reasons why a PPT may meet:

  • Review a student’s initial evaluation, determine special education eligibility, and develop an IEP if the student is eligible
  • Conduct an annual review for the IEP
  • Conduct and annual review for the IEP and examine the results of the three-year evaluation for continued eligibility
  • Review or make revisions to the IEP
  • Review or make revisions to the IEP and examine the results of the three-year evaluation for continued eligibility
  • Plan a targeted assessment (other than the three-year evaluation)
  • Examine the results of the targeted assessment
  • Plan a three-year evaluation
  • Transition planning (examine transition goals and objectives)
