Your unemployment in Connecticut should not be affected by a Permanent Partial Disability Award from your previous employer. It might be wise to inform unemployment that you are collecting a PPD payment, but a PPD payment is not considered a wage replacement so it is acceptable to receive payments for PPD and unemployment at the same time.
